The Sessions

Calm Skillfulness Navigating Challenges

  • 60-minute video or audio call to assess needs, recommend tools, and outline next steps.

  • Twelve (12) weekly 60-minute video or audio calls to systematically skill-build, practice tool implementation, and gauge goal progress. Interim text questions, support messages, and brief calls are included (in addition to the weekly sessions).

  • Highly individualized, skill-building deep work to follow-up (at any time) after ANCHOR sessions have been completed. These sessions lock-in learning and implementation protocols and recognize skills transferability.

What are Mentorship and Skill-Building
and who is Kevin Dunn?

What is Mentorship?

Kevin Dunn’s style of Mentorship combines lived experience, relational support, practical skill development, and proactive accountability partnership to help parents, caregivers, and partners navigate complex eating disorder challenges effectively.

What is Skill-Building?

Skill-building is the intentional selection/development and deliberate practice of tools that improve your effectiveness in challenging situations…and is the process of strengthening the emotional, relational, and behavioral capabilities needed to navigate eating disorder caregiving with greater adaptability, steadiness, and resilience. So, in a nutshell:

Mentorship = the relationship and the process
Skill-building = the tools being developed

Is this therapy?

No. This is values-based skill-building and mentorship focused on supporting your navigation through eating disorder caregiving. Skill-building doesn’t solve eating disorder challenges; rather, it supports your effective navigation through them.
